Artistico recently renovated our oak parquet floor, they were very flexible moving the date a couple of times to suit our project and the result was the floor looks as good as new !

We used Artistico as a result of an Insurance claim; they were recommended by the Insurers contractor. We are very fussy and had good engineered wood flooring over most of our downstairs - that regrettably needed replacing. What we had we liked it a lot and wanted simply like-for-like replacement. Ivan visited us and showed samples - and indeed the one we thought best he suggested we wouldn't like! There are many options - plank length, number of knots, bevelled edge - as well as width and colour etc. Knowing what we wanted Ivan personally sourced a replacement the said would be what we wanted. Then he visited with one plank oiled with 5 different types - we chose. OK it was a bit nail-biting as we had not seen the chosen wood in detail. Ivan came with his crew the first day, we discussed all (laying pattern etc). Result - more than excellent... better than we had before and the laying crew were fast, efficient and skilled. Our experience with Artistico ended very well - I would not hesitate to recommend them.
I am an architect and asked Artistico to refurbish my own 1970s parquet floor and lay an area of new floor to match. The 50 year old flooring has come up like new and the new parquet is a very good match. The job was carried out tidily and efficiently.Scott Batty Architect.
