Book club is hosted here once a month. Lovely environment, cold gin and wine, lovely food often have platters cheese, ham to go with wine. Friendly staff, parking in front and behind, do have rooms but need booking, never used as so far I have managed to walk home from book club.
Nice little place with a warm welcome. Popped in for a cup of tea and some food after visiting Harry Potter studios. Nice for a pint too. Fire was lit and the place was quaint . Go visit .
Can be really pleasant and the building certainly retains its old-world charm.
Unfortunately we were unable to order food here as they were having a function but stayed for a drink as it was a nice atmosphere. Staff were very helpful in giving us advise on where we could get some food.
