Doug was brilliant and collected us from the station (we had a premonition we'd be driving away with our new purchase that day!) and allowed us loads of time to peruse, test drive and think about our options. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism, helpfulness and friendliness of Doug from whom I bought my Mark 5 Golf GTI. I have no doubt it will prove to be an excellent car and, right from first meeting Doug at James Laurence Cars I knew he was a person I could trust, nothing was too much trouble for him - which is something, that sadly does not apply to lots of dealers these days. I look forward to going back to Doug in the not-too-distant future and upgrading the current Golf to a newer one.
Fantastic experience. I contacted Doug at James Laurence Cars to ask to do a test drive of a BMW on sale. The location is a converted barn on a lovely farm estate in the countryside, which was a pleasant surprise. Doug was very relaxed and welcoming, and more than happy to spend a lot of time explaining the features and service history, without glossing over any points that might count against the model. I felt no pressure at all to buy the car. Having taken it out and heard everything about it, I decided to go ahead with the purchase as it was clearly offered at a fair price and with a part exchange of my current car. I would recommend this showroom without hesitation to anyone looking for a quality used car.
